Dr. Dolly Chugh, Professor, NYU Stern School of Business

I'm an award-winning researcher and professor at Pepperdine University. My work explores the systems and situations stacked against us, and how individuals nevertheless navigate their way and build new paths in the process.
I was on the faculty at the Wharton School and worked as a researcher at Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School. I earned my PhD from Stanford's School of Engineering. My research appears in leading academic journals as well as Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, TIME, and NPR.
I bring rigor to something deeply personal —
and I'm still practicing what I study.
Underneath all my work is one belief I keep coming back to: agency isn't something you're given,
and it isn't something taken from you for good.
Agency something we claim and reclaim,
one vow at a time —
and each time we do,
the ripple effects are exponential.

Bobbi brings over a decade of research on agency, negotiation, and women's leadership to keynotes, workshops, and executive retreats.
With warm, engaging and interactive sessions,
Bobbi creates safe, joyful spaces and
translates her academic research into practical tools audiences can apply in their lives immediately.

Retreats are small-group gatherings for women reclaiming their agency in community.
Expect guided reflection, honest conversation, and practical tools for identifying your most precious devotions and living out the vows that matter to you.
Details on the next retreat are coming soon.
Whether you're looking for a dynamic keynote speaker, organizing an intimate fireside chat, need a moderator for a high-profile event, or just have a question or a not fully formed nugget of an idea, I would love to hear from you.
